What is Ecstatic Gestalt?

Ecstatic Gestalt is that singular, two-fold feeling of being both fully present in your own life, and deeply, intimately  connected to the living energy that permeates and underpins the universe around you.

We may feel it in the sudden clarity of a new insight; in the final line that completes a work of art; in the thrilling climactic note of a beautiful piece of music... Or perhaps, in the first cry of a newborn child; the familiar caress of a beloved partner or the perfect dewy stillness of a summer morning.

It is an enduring and nurturing source of strength, peace and even wisdom that is always there at the core of your being, but is most often left unnoticed and unheeded, humming gently at the periphery of experience while the distractions and urgency of everyday life buzz and grind in the center of our attention.

More prosaically, for now, Ecstatic Gestalt is my home on the digital landscape, a place to share my poetry, my experiences from the long and winding path I've traced, and my thoughts on the things that interest me. It is also my own small (very) underground press, a platform to support and encourage intelligent writing about interesting questions.
